The Aerial tram-- Palm Springs, CA 10/29/08

This was a really fun day! We all went to the Aerial tram which takes you 2 1/2 miles up to the top of a mountain. It was beautiful and AMAZING ride!! Although it is a little hard for some to understand...when you are inside the tram the floor actually spins slowly to give you a good view from all sides....so you cannot hold onto the bars on the wall you have to keep moving your hands....there were some older people in the crowded tram on the way up....and they could not understand this concept....one of the ladies was not to sure on her feet and she started inching over more and more until she was practically on top of the strollers....we hit a bump....and she SAT on poor Tierzah!! Yikes....oh the memories!! TKat(what we call Tierzah) was not hurt....so it ended up being kinda funny!! Here are some of our amazing pictures from the day! We took a picnic lunch and ate it there and also took a little hike with the kids....the temp was about 95 degrees that day....when we got to the top of the mountain it was about 73 degrees or so....very nice and pleasant!! There are INCREDIBLE views and lots of hiking trails....Over all this was a GREAT day!!

Cami and her boys on the hike!
Asa, Jordan and Ariella stopped for a break!
We saw several lizards...Ariella was set on catching one so she could pull off the tail...good thing they are fast!
My cute TKat!
That tower is one of the "stations" you pass through....when you do it is a second of free fall....the kids LOVED this....the adults not so much!!

This is the day that Tkat decided that walking wasn't too bad!! Especially with someone to hold on to!

Cami and her cute boys who love her A LOT!! They both only wanted Mom to help them, push them in the stroller, hold them....and everything else....Cami is such a good Mommy!!
My cute Asa!
Our handsome Malachi!
Asa really liked the tram ride!
Wow we are high!

This is one of the trams as we passed it going the opposite direction!

Our tram is here!!
Cute kids ready for the ride!

Our Halloween Party--Early!!

We decided it would be fun to have a small Halloween party with all of the kids a few days early! So we brought all of their costumes and did a "trick or treat" door to door in the house...doors were answered by Grandpa, Grandma, Malachi, Asa, and Jose...they got lots of candy and had lots of fun!! They really enjoyed the "tricks" put on by Jose....he would startle them somehow each time that they knocked on his door! The kids thought this was hilarious!! They didn't care if he even had candy anymore...they just kept knocking until he just quit answering!!

The whole cute group of kids....Aren't they the cutest!!

Trick or treating to Jose's door!

Trick or treating to Grandma!

Jordan & Ariella LOVE each other....most of their pictures together...are hugging ones!! Our princess and monkey in LOVE!!
Cute Braden was a skunk...and tierzah a cat....our black and white's!
Jordan is the cutiest monkey I have ever seen!!
Our fairy princess...ARIELLA!!

Our Cowboy....ASA!Our hero Zorro....MALACHI!
Our cuddly kitty....TIERZAH!

On actual Halloween we were in Bakersfield, Ca...so we dressed up the kids and went trick or treating in some random neighborhoods....but it was about 70 degrees outside!! AND NOT RAINING!! WOW!!
Probably one of the funnest things we did was all of the swimming in La Quinta. My dad is staying in a large 6 bedroom 6 bathroom house with a private pool and hot tub in the large back yard. We stayed there with him for 6 days. This was a GREAT way to relax after the week of amusement parks!! It was even better when Mom, Cami, Jordan and Braden were there too!! Here are a few of the cute swimming pictures we have from there!! The kids swam a lot and got super tan!!

Jose sitting in the hot tub and holding Tierzah on the top of the "Volcano" as the kids liked to call it...it had water from the pool running down the steps...the kids would climb the "volcano" into the hot tub...then climb back down into the pool!! So fun!!
My swimmers!

Ariella practicing her underwater swimming with her cool goggles from Grandma!

My cute girl, sitting one of the fountains in the pool!!

Tierzah sitting on one of the fountains on the side of the pool!

Malachi...probably our biggest fish!Asa is a close second!!
Tierzah couldn't get enough of the pool...although she didn't get to go in as much....because that meant mom or dad had to be in there too!!
Ariella LOVES to swim...all she needs is a pair of floaties and she is free to roam the pool all by herself....she is a really good swimmer...she started to learn to swim without the floaties...and can swim under water alone. WAY TO GO YA YA!!

LA China Town...lots of Fun!!

We did go to the LA China Town when we were leaving the LA area. The kids really loved spending the rest of their "spending money" there! Asa especially loved it...he says it was his favorite part of the whole trip! Here are a few pictures from there....at least it was nice weather!!

This is ONE of the kinda funny signs that we saw there!! Maybe only funny to us!!
We are there waving....can you see us?
The cute boys in China Town!
Ariella was soooo proud of her parasol....she did some cute dances with it and everything!!
Jose and the kids in the heart of China Town! So cute!!

The Trip Home...San Francisco

On our way home...we stopped in San Francisco to go to China Town....IT WAS SO RAINY...we thought we were back home already!! We still went to China Town for about an hour, it was fun but wet!! The kids still LOVED it. The best part about going was we went over the Golden Gate Bridge! We couldn't see past the sides of the bridge because of the fog and rain....but it was really neat! And the city is AMAZING...super tall buildings...
